Two women, Aline and Odette, took over the Mbizi washing station in the Kamonyi District and founded the cooperative “Women Coffee Extension”. They distributed goats and fertilizer to support the farmers. Many of the farmers are widowed, come from humble backgrounds, and own small plots of land. Aline and Odette have made it their goal to improve the lives of these women.
